Omaha Tax Burden Forum – April 25, 4PM, Hot Shops

Let us provide you with an inside look at how our tax dollars are divided among the rich,
middle class, and poor; and learn how the Omaha tax burden compares to others in the
region and nation.

Dr. John Bartle (UNO) will explain in everyday language the different types of taxes we
pay, Nebraska State Senator Abbie Cornett will serve as the respondent, and plenty of time
will be reserved for questions from the audience.

A $5 donation will be asked to cover the cost of appetizers and beverages.
Please be sure to register by April 24th at this Registration link.

(You may make a donation at the PayPal button on the home page or bring it to the event.)

The Tax Burden Forum was a clear success with 28 people participating, excellent presentations by Dr. John Bartle and Sen. Abbie Cornett, lively Q&A and many lingering to continue the discussion afterwards. Thanks to all involved.
